Things Kids Say

This evening, girl1 came to me and said, “Daddy! My bum is broken!” This was after she and her sister wrestled and basically beat each other senseless–an act that occurs with shocking frequency. She even pulled down her pants to show me where the injury occured. All I could see was a little red mark no bigger than a dime. I just chuckled and said, “Honey, I’m sorry, but I’m not kissing it better.”
